ive been trying to get god to design a plant for me but had become all yellowy n dying since I asked god to make it
ive prayed god to save it but nothing happened so I watered it & gave it some sunlight
now it seems to be doing somewhat better
so it got me thinking does god work through what he created
watering plants through the rain cycle & a fiery star billions of miles away giving it light
its all automatic
a complex image can be broken down into only 3 colors
whts so difficult in believing that those three colors existed without having a divine creator
& y r u so compelled to believe that purple is not the a mixture of red & blue but an entity on its own that god himself created out of purple light dust

Actually, violet can be a single frequency on the UV spectrum without needing to mix frequencies. The whole idea of breaking colours into 3 components was for ease of representation. Just the way that alphabet can be represented by ASCII or Morse.
The RGB color model is based on the Young–Helmholtz theory of trichromatic color vision. But there are many other encoding schemes such as CMYK.
Another thing is that a complex image cannot be just simply broken down into 3 colours, say if you were a bee for example. The 3 colours copmponents approximate what our human eyes perceive as colours. There are also wavelengths above the infrared and below the ultraviolet too. But we tend to just cut it down to the visible spectrum for our convenience, while we actually end up removing information (non-visible spectrum) which we humans are unable to see.
And in computing, we tend to take digital sampling which further approximates the given information. What we end up is an approximation of the picture, and that too according to the limits of our eyes.

Just one simple thought, when it comes to God, how can we think and try to define and predict using tools that was given to us by God?
Just imagine if we found an element out of this world, perhaps in Mars! How would you define it and explain it to your friends? You can only say hard as iron and can be bend like rubber! This is called relating! We humans can't define things of which we have no experience! So when it comes to the creator, a world unlike ours, how are you to define it, explain the actions, not human in the history of this world was able to do that. We can only relate with the most imaginable way but it will never be a perfect definition! Never!
Can u imagine a world that has no beginning and no end! It hard to most, as everything we see in this world has an end and a beginning... but even here in this world we have a way to imagine it... Itz using Maths, just imagine infinity!
So as far as God is concerned, don't ever use your five senses, it is not enough... Use your intuition or the sixth sense... If this makes no sense, I can only pray, May God Guide Us all...

1. Who is trying to imagine how the Universe came to existence? It is not me, it is you... It is not hard to imagine at all... It is only hard to explain in details in a way that is definitive...
2. God is not a person! Do you really define your Creator with personalities based on you? God is neither good or bad, but rather a much higher and purer in state...
Last a food for thought, if everything was as clear as black and white, would you be able to make the statement you just made?

If you know what I know, I have no doubts that you will have infinite certainty in God... I have made my over 10 years of soul searching journey from being an atheist to a believer... I did asked all the questions you are asking now, I understand you... And all I can say is, keep searching...

Just some final words:
What we feel or rather emotions and in that case faith, can never be simplified to facts! What you feel can only be yours to be felt and conveyed! In that case a powerful religious symbols, used by all religions, often carries with it either comfort, judgment, healing, pain, or a desire for protection. Obviously, how these symbols enters into ones life and what effect it has on someone can only be said to be his or her reality.
So when one is enlighten with affirmation, denial is not an option and it has to be a doorway to experience a breakthrough. Though this comes with a bit of suffering, fear, and emotional loss! Which is always valid, incredible and deserves to be acknowledged and expressed to own-self in order to heal and transform the sacrifice. For we all have freedom of choice.
For God said in the Quran [17:36] You shall not accept any information, unless you verify it for yourself. I have given you the hearing, the eyesight, and the brain, and you are responsible for using them.
As for a freethinker, why, who and what limit the freethinker from running wild? This world is a pretty much a self governed move with responsibilities...
As for the evidence of God, know that true knowledge is two part, one understanding other wisdom. Understanding is what can be acquired using the five senses. But wisdom can only be sensed by your sixth sense. If one depend only on one, the knowledge can never be pure or perfected...
As for the voice, I take my God as my guidance... For God said in the Quran [2:186] When My servants ask you about Me, I am always near. I answer their prayers when they pray to Me. The people shall respond to Me and believe in Me, in order to be guided.
The funny thing about faith is, you can only acquire faith by applying faith!
Thus IF God does ask me I will kill, at the same time I KNOW God will NOT ask me to kill! This is the paradox that most don't know to function in! With this my life is a mystery to me and I treat it like one...
Said all this, today in this world there are lot of shit done in the name of religion or God, with this statement, I excuse myself from all those...
